Plan Restatements are Beginning

Most retirement plan documents are required to be restated in the near future.   This is a legal requirement and must be done to keep the plan tax-qualified.  It is required because of changes to the law and regulations and the requirement that the written plan document accurately reflect its terms. 

We are in the process of contacting our clients to begin the plan document restatement process.  The restatement process is a good time to review the operation of the plan and decide whether changes should be made to make the plan more effective for you. For more information regarding why the restatement is required in a printer friendly version please click here.
